These terms apply to the website and the notary services provided by S Washington Investment Group LLC, operating as S. Washington Mobile After Hours Notary and Loan Signing ("I," "me," or "my"). By using this website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
What I do
I'm a commissioned notary public and certified loan signing agent in the State of Ohio. My job is to verify the identity of signers and witness signatures on documents. I am not an attorney. I can't give legal advice, prepare legal documents, or tell you which document you need or how to complete it.
Booking and identification
To complete a notarization, every signer must be present and provide a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, be willing to sign, and appear to understand what they're signing. If I can't verify your identity, or if a document is incomplete, I may not be able to notarize it.
Fees and travel
Notary and signing fees follow Ohio law where it sets them, plus a travel fee based on your location and the time of your appointment. I'll confirm the total with you before your appointment. A trip fee may still apply if a signing can't be completed for reasons outside my control.
Cancellations
Plans change, and that's okay. Please give as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule or cancel. A travel fee may apply if I've already arrived for a scheduled appointment.
Limitation of liability
My responsibility is limited to performing notarial acts properly under Ohio law. I'm not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legal effect of your documents, or for any decision you make based on them. This website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
